Executive Summary | This seminar on the topic of “Rubber Materials and Manufacturing Processes aiming on Energy Savings in Road Traffic”, is one of the class activities in the subject of Materials for Energy Applications. The main content emphasizes the integration of rubber and energy technologies that can be divided into two main parts: the importance of special rubber materials for fuel-saving tires and the importance of engineering knowledge for the improvement of manufacturing processes of sealing profiles for cars. This activity is knowledge and experience transfer from int2ernational lecturer and researcher to Thai students, researchers and the general public to visualize the application of basic knowledge to industrial real use, in particular; applying materials science technology to solve energy issues. This seminar was honored by Prof. Dr.-Ing. Edmund Haberstroh from RWTH Aachen University as an invited speaker. He was The Chair of Rubber Technology (LFK), RWTH Aachen University and he currently works with the Deutsche Institut für Kautschuktechnologie e. V. (DIK), Hannover, Germany. According to academic collaboration with TGGS, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Edmund Haberstroh has been an invited lecturer who has given lectures together with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rungsima Yeetsorn for the subject of Rubber Technology. |
